Houston Texans Partnership

We’ve teamed up with the NFL’s Houston Texans to honor Texas veterans through the Gridiron Heroes: Military Officiating initiative. As the presenting partner, American National supports veterans by providing training, mentorship, and resources to pursue careers as football coaches or officials, fostering a pathway to civilian life. Additionally, we participate in Salute to Service Week to honor service members at Texans home games.

Texas Freedom Award

We were honored to be named a Texas Freedom Award Runner-Up with Honors for the 2024 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. This recognition celebrates our steadfast support for our employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve, through policies like paid time off for training and retained benefits. Nominated by a current employee, this award reflects our dedication to creating an inclusive workplace that honors the invaluable contributions of our service members.

Through partnerships with minor league baseball teams and local colleges, we champion community engagement, athletics, and academic excellence.
