American National is proud to announce the induction of William B. (Brian) Davenport, Associate General Agent, and David Wyman, Multiple Line General Agent, to the 2022 Multiple Line Hall of Fame.
The Multiple Line Hall of Fame is the highest recognition available to members of the American National field team. To be eligible for induction to the Hall of Fame, candidates must have served a minimum of 25 years as an American National Multiple Line Agent, Associate General Agent (AGA) or Multiple Line General Agent (MLGA) and qualified to attend the Multiple Line Conference for a minimum of 15 years. Hall of Fame members are recognized as enduring examples of excellence, who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the betterment of American National, their community and clients.
Brian Davenport (West Dundee, IL) joined American National in 1984 at the age of 20 and founded the Davenport Insurance Agency in his hometown.
The path to insurance was natural as his father, Max (a long time American National MLGA) and mother, Darlene (an American National agent) helped mentor him to his current success. Brian’s sister, Diane Flaherty, is also an American National agent along with his son Ryan Davenport.
Brian is the epitome of long term, consistent success. He has now qualified for the Multiple Line Conference a remarkable 32 times, including six times as a Gathering of Eagles qualifier. He has also qualified for MDRT on multiple occasions.

He has also qualified for MDRT on multiple occasions. Brian is a longtime supporter of NAIFA and has maintained the LUTCF® designation for more than 35 years. He has served on the Agent Field Council and regularly supports field systems working with the Agent Experience team.
Despite his crazy work and family schedule, Brian still finds time to be a fanatical sports enthusiast, attend concerts (over 800 attended!), play darts and enjoy simulated board games. Brian and his wife of 35 years, Susan, currently reside in Lake in the Hills, IL. They have two children, son Ryan, and daughter Kelly.
David Wyman (Fayetteville, NY) joined Farm Family as an agent in 1989, immediately after graduating with a BA in Political Science from SUNY Oswego.
He began his scratch agency under the watchful eye of his father, a General Agent at the time. In October of 2004, David was appointed as General Agent and continued to experience exceptional success. As both an agent and General Agent David has qualified for the Multiple Line Conference 27 times, including an outstanding 16 at Chieftain or Summit Club.
David’s success has been recognized throughout his career having been inducted into the Farm Family Senior Agent Hall of Fame and the General Agent Hall of Fame. David has supported the NALU and GAMA (now FINSECA) and was twice recognized by American National with GAMA’s First In Class Award. He gives back to his industry and community with numerous associations including leadership positions.
David and his wife, Laurie, are proud parents of three sons, Daniel, Andrew, and Sean. David and Laurie have a love of travel, golf, hiking, and supporting many local organizations.
